This Season's Must Have Co-Ordinate Sets

I get so excited when I spot clothes that instantly get me thinking...ooooh I could wear that with this or I could wear this with that. If something inspires you to create lots of different outfit combinations then you know you are on to a winner for your wardrobe. I came across two co-ordinating looks on Zara today (they have lots more but these were my favourite two). A matching red top and red trouser combo and a matching green top and green trouser combo. Firstly an all over block colour outfit looks very chic and offers lots of possibilities when it comes to accessorising. You can have fun with adding different textures, for instance, a fringe neckpiece or feather earrings or maybe an embellished belt. The best bit is that the block colour pieces can then be separated to mix with other items in your wardrobe, offering you two more completely different outfit options.

Red Flowing Trousers €49.95 from Zara......Buy Here

Okay so you buy this red 2 piece set for €89.90 for a wedding, communion, confirmation or a day at the races - but now you want to get more wear from your outfit. So lets split them up! You could tuck the statement sleeve top into a curve hugging pencil skirt. And then for another outfit option you can match the flowing trousers up with a fabulous print blouse like the below one from Lennon Courtney for Dunnes Stores.

My second Co-Ord set is this deep green belt detail top and deep green high waist crop trousers.

Again after you have worn your two piece to an occasion, it's time to split up the matching pair to create more outfit options. I love cream with deep green and found this gorgeous lace insert top on ASOS to team with the cropped trousers. Navy is also a fab match to this dark green hue so for the asymmetrical hem top I have selected a navy skinny trouser from Dunnes Stores.

Outrageous Fortune Ruffle Detail Lace Insert Wrap Blouse €29.73 from ASOS......Buy Here

Savida Zip Front Trousers €30 from Dunnes Stores......Buy Here

To me purchasing separates as opposed to a dress for an occasion offers a huge advantage because you instantly have lots of outfit options once the occasion is over. You'll see over the coming months that dresses or smart tunics worn over trousers will be a popular choice for occasions. So my tip is to keep Co-Ordinates in mind when shopping for your next event.
