You are going to love my first find as it's very similar to one of my fave jackets. I bought a pink cord Kookai jacket, I think about 12/13 years ago....really!! I wore it regularly at the time but I have to admit it then went to the back of my wardrobe for a number of years. I'm so glad I didn't throw it out, I was putting together a couple of looks to wear to Castlepalooza festival 2016, I tried it on and fell in love with it all over again. Through back to me wearing my jacket at the festival....
And more recently this is how I have styled my old faithful Kookai jacket.
And the good news for my readers, is that I have found a very similar style jacket available on next.co.uk. It's a cord jacket also and the colour is almost identical. What I love about the jacket is that you have the versatility of a denim jacket, wear it casually and as you've seen above you can style it with a dressier look. The colour is just perfect for the summer.

My next cover-up essential is a blazer, if you don't own a blazer, get one!! I've chosen this versatile style from Zara. Zara have a brilliant choice of blazers at the moment, if you already own a black one then I would suggest going for a Navy one instead or for the summer months a white one would be fab too. Similar to the cord jacket, a blazer can work with both casual denim looks and equally as great over a dress. This particular crepe blazer is available in black or white.

Another terrific cover-up to have in your wardrobe is a Khaki cardigan. Khaki is a brilliant neutral and I especially love a green hue for the summer months. I found the following cardi on Next. What I like about it is the length, it will look perfect with jeans and a top and just as good over a dress. I love the zip detail on the sleeves and the fabric is a nice fine knit.
I hope you guys enjoyed my post and found it inspiring.
